What's happening with the Stolen Moments book

G'day Everyone,

Well you can't say we aren't keeping to our promise of not
filling up your Inbox with regular newsletters, can you? To
be honest things have been busy here, but we wanted to make
sure everything was confirmed before passing the good news
on to you.

FIRSTLY, we now have another website. The Life's
Inspirational Moments one is still working fine, we just
found that there was a need for a bigger and better one,
www.all-about-alzheimers.com.

As you might expect this new one includes a lot more
information about the disease, but also it's a site
designed for people. Our aim is to make it friendly,
caring, supportive, in fact all the things we offered
through 'Stolen Moments'. In keeping with this not only do
we have new articles added regularly, but we also have
little videos of Pamela and me, and (one our favourites)
'Adventures with Mum and Aunty Norrie'.

The last of these are snippets of Pamela's thoughts and
experiences as she cares for her dear Mum and Aunty,
something she has been doing for years now. Have a look at
it under the Alzheimers Journal heading on the site, it'll
make you laugh, nod and wonder.

So please visit the website, bookmark it or even follow the
directions on the site to RSS it, that way you'll always
know when we have added a new article, blog entry or
Adventure. (An RSS feed is a little like a newsletter but
less intrusive - in other words it doesn't fill up your
Inbox.)

ANOTHER big bit of news is that we are now going through
the process of putting together the new book, a sequel to
Stolen Moments. The stories, poems and anecdotes are all
in, and the sorting has begun. Can't as yet give out any
definate timeframes though.

THE BIGGEST PIECE OF NEWS - Stolen Moments has been taken
on by an Australian-wide distributor which means (drum role
please) our book can now be bought (or ordered) from every
good bookstore across Australia.

It took a while and a lot of hard work (all Pamela's) but
we got there in the end. Along with this goes another round
of promotions so listen out for where we will be. Confirmed
dates and interviews will be published on
www.all-about-alzheimers.com.

So far it looks definite that the book will be talked about
this Wednesday (9th) by Sue Pieters-Hawke on Channel 9 at
12noon on 'Susie', so if you get the chance to tune in ...

Well, I guess that might be all the news for the moment.
Remember to have a look at www.all-about-alzheimers.com and
sign up for the free RSS feed.

Take Care
